Vinyl Design attended for the second time last week end the Finders Keepers Design Market held at the Carriage Works in Sydney. It was, as previously, a great experience, the building itself is beautiful and full of atmosphere, there was live music, food & drinks and, of course, lots of amazing new design products ranging from stationary to clothing to housewares and jewellery. We took this great opportunity to launch our new line of organic t-shirts and we were very pleased with the response. People loved the feel and the softness of the cotton and we saw many smiling faces looking at the designs and packaging of our tees! The best sellers were "9 Bugs T-shirt", "Geckos T-shirt", "Bots T-shirt" and "Plane T-shirt".They're pictured above and you will find them soon online! Vinyl Tees Updates: getting closer...
Our first lot of blank t-shirts just arrived! We ordered a variety of colours plus the classic black and white, it will be interesting to see which colours will be more popular and which designs. We're happy with the quality, they’re made of a very soft cotton, pleasant to wear and they fit well. Finally everything is coming together, we are ready with a new logo, with the packaging and the designs, now all we have to do is starting the production in our workshop in Surry Hills. It took quite a long time and efforts to start this new adventure considering that our background is in interior design and not in fashion but it is also very exciting to create a new product from scratch and putting it on the market. We hope the t-shirts will have the same success then the wall stickers and to be able to expand our line in the near future.Check our blog again soon, the t-shirts will be online and ready to ship very soon! We really enjoyed working on this peculiar custom design: our client Kate sent us an hand made drawing she came across to convert into a wall decal and this is the very original result! We love the contrast of the white vinyl on the navy blue wall and the sketchy effect of the design. We call them wall stickers but they can be applied almost everywhere!
